Most of us view Wednesday as either the high point....or the low point..... of the week. Whatever your view, it's a good day to take a few minutes to focus on the positive things that are in all of our lives.
Do you love new beginnings? I do.
By December, I was ready for a fresh start.
On the first day of the New Year, I enjoyed opening a new calendar and writing the first words in a blank journal.
I began my month long effort to clean the clutter from drawers and closets, resolving not to linger over sentimental attachments to things such as worn out slippers and pencil nubs.
It was also the beginning of a more positive approach to life. I made plans to concentrate more on the wonder of tiny flowers blooming on my violet plants in the middle of winter and less on the aches and pains from the cold weather.
